Plum, Beetroot and Apple Juice
A clensing and healthy juice to kickstart your day.
Ingredients:
- 10 ripe plums
- 1 gala apple
- 1 small beetroot
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon agave nectar(optional)
Method:
1.Wash the plums and cut them in half and remove the stones.Put the plums in a bowl.2.Core the apple and keeping the skin on, cut the apple into chunks and put in the the bowl .3.Peel the beetroot and cut it into chunks and add it to the bowl.4.Add all the fruit into the Optimum 600 juicer and extract the juice, Once all the fruit has been juiced, taste it and if required add some agave necter to sweeten it. 5.Add the icecubes to two tall glasses and pour the juice into the glasses, serve immediately.

ReplyDeleteI used to drink loads of juices but I think I saturated myself and now can't seem to drink them. When I did I loved using beetroot though. Although, my ultimate favourite was a ginger shot and I can just about manage one of those every now and then :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a great post and lovely blog! I love juicing and smoothie making and anything with beetroot (and ginger) is my favorite! Never tried it with plums though, so I think I'll add it to my shopping list!

ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of veggie juice but I think with the fruits it must taste more like a fruit juice even though there's beetroot in it. Looks very healthy and worth a try :)
