Tea or Coffee? Statistics show that the consumption of coffee is far greater than tea in the world however to me tea is my favourite drink, I hardly ever drink coffee.
Tea comes from the Camellia Sinensis plant and there are
over 3,000 varieties of tea. They can be divided into five basic categories:
black, green, oolong, white, and puer. Tea also has many health benefits, it is
also a drink that is consumed all over the world in various different forms.
Tea is served at breakfast, on street stalls in rustic clay cups to more
refined artisan teas parties where the experience and preparation of tea is an
art in itself.
My favourite cup of tea is Indian masala tea made with water, milk, loose tea leaves and a sprinkling of Indian tea masala. This is heaven to me and I crave this every morning, without it my day would not begin.
To help me perfect my cup of tea I use loose tea leaves
which I place in my Camellia Tea Magnet and Infuser Set by Charles Viancin. The
loose tea and Indian spice is placed in the tea infuser which is popped into a
cup and topped with boiling water tea. Once I am happy with the infusion I can
use the magnetic stem to lift out my infuser without any difficulty and place
it on the silicon saucer that matches this lovely set. All that remains after
is to add a dash of milk and a sprinkling of sugar and my daily cuppa is ready.
The Charles Viancin Camellia Tea infuser and saucer is
perfect for use with tea bags or loose tea. The
infuser is stainless steel and the magnetic stem and saucer are made from 100%.
The BPA free silicone, making these totally safe at high temperatures. You can buy the tea infuser for £ 10.00 and the Matching saucer for £ 3.00 from many kitchenware stockists.
**I was sent a magnetic infuser and saucer to try all opinions in this post are of my own.
Charles Viancin have been really kind and they have agree to
send one citrusspice reader a magnetic infuser and silicon saucer so that they
too can enjoy making a great cup of tea.
