There is no better way to let the time pass than with the thought that you could win a great deal of money be it for that dream holiday, or new business set up or a new car or home. Make sure you buy the lotto online rather than going to the newsagents since we at in a lock down, stay home and stay safe.

2. Binge watch the latest Netflix series
With Netflix dropping the hottest series, there are plenty of Netflix series that you can watch to pass the time. Of course when streaming you will need a good stable internet connection, to avoid buffering or connection cutting out at the crucial point! You can now search internet availability by address, to find the best internet providers in your area for your needs. With the internet sorted you can watch Money Heist to Elite Season 3, the options are endless. Browse through the latest series and choose one that suits you best. There is no better way to spend the time than by binge watching the latest Netflix series with a bowl of popcorn and bar of chocolate.
3. Take a virtual trip to your favourite holiday destination
Being stuck at home does not mean that you cannot see the world. It is about time that you used technology to your advantage and took a virtual trip to discover the world. Another fun thing you can do is to start making your bucket list of places you would like to visit.

4. Read a good book
One of the best things that you can do at home is read a good book. If you have not read a good book for some time now, it might be just what you need. Head over to Amazon to shop for the hottest e-books or order a hard cover if you feel like it. The Works also offers a brilliant variety of discount arts & crafts, cookery and gardening books to help keep you busy and find new hobbies. Alternatively there are lots of options on kindle too.

5. Learn to cook new dishes
There is no denying that Indian food amongst other cuisines is delicious and its most peoples first takeaway choice on a Saturday night. Since we are unable to go out to dinner or get our favorite takeaway, why not try your hand at cooking the dishes at home. There are plenty of YouTube channels and free online classes and cook books you could refer to, that will help you cook up a delicious meal. It is just what you need to do to cheer yourself up in these dull times. Learning to cook new dishes can be a fun activity to do in lock down.
6. Catch a movie
There are many movies that you can watch since you are home. Watch the latest Hollywood film or a foreign movie. Besides, it will help you learn a foreign language.
7. Listen to music
Entertain yourself to some music. Many artists are even creating music dedicated to the situation. Hence, it might be a good idea to listen to some new music.

8. Play a video game
When was the last time you played a video game? Being stuck at home gives you the perfect excuse to take out your play station controller and to play some Grand Theft Auto. My personal favourite is Spyro the dragon
9. Study online
With so many online platforms offering free courses or courses that cost a small fee, it is time that you learned something new.
10. Indulge in some spa time
Treat yourself to some spa time by giving yourself a manicure and pedicure. It will help you relax. You can set up a fun spa area in your own home

Are there any tips that you have that you can suggest whilst we are in lock down? Do share your ideas of fun activities to do from home during lockdown in the comments below, I would love to hear them.

I agree with all of these ideas. I already buy lotto online so always nice to check if we have won. Binge watch Netflix is great although I hate it when we get to the end x

Binge watching tv is something we're doing at the moment time permitting. You'd think I would have more time over lockdown but with 3 kids and working from home there is little time for anything.

thank you for these good suggestions – I have been mostly gardening, some online learning, watching films, cooking and speaking to family/friends.
We've been watching a lot of Netflix and a lot of movies during lockdown. There's a few things on this list I will definitely be trying.

I have been doing spa nights with my 7 year old son and we both love it! At first I was enjoying being able to catch up on programmes that I have been planning to watch for ages but honestly I am getting sick of watching TV. Really enjoying improving my garden at the moment
